What has changed
We have simplified the editing and viewing of general subject details. external Hospital data and or specific Study data aka custom fields.

All the Subject details will be viewed and edited under the Details tab. The Edit page that was accessed from the top corner will be removed and the Details tab will have the general information (system mandatory) on the tab “General” and any extra data coming from custom fields or API will be in other tabs.

As the custom fields are created per study. In a multisite Study if one site has clinical data inserted through an API and another site should be able to insert the same fields manually. The tab with the Hospital data will be visible to the ones that have API inserted data automatically and, in this case, the “Study data” (visible if custom fields are inserted) should be disabled and for sites that don’t have “Hospital data”, the tab “Study Data” will be visible.

How it affects you
You will now be able to create similar subject record page of clinicians in a multisite that one site might have an API  and the other might not have. If the Clinical data coming from an API are marked as editable only then the clinicians can edit the data which will overwrite the Hospital data. No existing custom fields will be changed.
